Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular and Pro Bull Riding SUNDAY, July 4th:

4:00pm – Gates open at 4:00pm. Food and beverage vendors will also be on-site.

6:00pm – Professional Bull Riders (PBR) General Admission to PBR is PRE-sale $20 until July 3, Gold Buckle* seats $50. General Admission ON 7/4 for PBR is $25 at the gate. Parking: FREE. $20 Pre-sale and $50 Gold buckle PBR tickets can be purchased on-line at http://www.avfair.com where the patron can choose their own seats and print their tickets. *There is no Pre-sale price break for Gold Buckle seats.

7:00pm – Live entertainment begins on the grounds. 8:00pm – Grandstands open to public to see fireworks – Admission to Fireworks is FREE

8:15pm – Rural Olympics. Events will include the gravel truck and trailer transfer, a skid steer loader contest, hay stealing, and potato races.

9:00 pm – Fireworks! Admission to the Rural Olympics and the Fireworks show is FREE; the PBR event requires a ticket ($20 pre-sale until July 3 or $25 at the gate). Following the Fireworks show the Fairgrounds will host live entertainment at the Cantina.

Seating for the Rural Olympics and fireworks show is on a first-come, first-seat basis. Folding chairs or blankets for non-grandstand seating is permitted. NO Alcohol, pets or personal fireworks allowed.

Showdown Rodeo – Friday & Saturday, July 9 & 10

FRIDAY & SATURDAY, July 9 & 10

Rodeo includes: barrel racing, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, roping, and more. Saturday is “Ride for the Pink” night, an organization dedicated to raising money for breast cancer research, awareness and treatment. All fans are encouraged to wear pink on Saturday to support the cause.

7:30pm – Rodeo begins (both nights). General Admission Rodeo tix are PRE-sale $12 (until July 8), Gold Buckle* seats: $35 General Admission ON 7/9 & 10 admission is $15 at the gate. Parking: $5.00.

Van Dam Farms will host a barn dance following the rodeo on both nights. Tickets for the Showdown Rodeo on July 9th and 10th are on sale at http://www.avfair.com where the patron can choose their own seats and print their tickets.
